"Over the last 4 years I have had 3 surgeries. Reconstructive foot, knee replacement and rotator cuff. I found myself incapable of doing most generic exercises and was physically unfit. When I started working with Nicole in October 2021 I was unable to climb steps, balance on one foot or open most twist off containers. She met me where I was at. I have grown to really love the health and fitness industry! For 20 years I had worked in Human Services as a Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional managing group homes, but five years ago I decided to help others in a new and exciting way!
My personal health journey began in January of 2012 when I found myself very unhealthy and very overweight after my divorce. I decided it was time to focus on myself and my health. I began by making small healthy habit changes such as being more active and learning how to eat the right things. It took me 15 months of hard work and dedication to lose over 100 pounds and I have continued to keep it off for over 10 years! I do this by switching up my workouts and continuing to eat the right food for my goals and my body! In 2018 I needed a more flexible schedule to assist my husband with our trucking company so with his support, I was able to become certified as a Personal Trainer. I then decided to become a Nutrition Coach, Weight Loss Specialist, Behavior Change Specialist, and now a Women's Fitness Specialist! Continuing to support and teach others in health and fitness has been amazing! In July of 2020 I opened my own personal training studio to provide personalized services to my clients. I have also taught exercise classes, did public speaking, and was a bootcamp instructor for my local fire department! A little bit about me: I am married to my best friend Jeff for 7 years and we live on a hobby farm in Miltona, MN. In 2023 we also turned our open land into a campground! We have 4 dogs, 3 goats, 2 cats, many, many hens along with a few roosters, a bunny, and a lizard! We love the outdoors and any activity that will bring us there!
